Electric boosting: This system comes with an electric booster to ensure continuous hot water supply during the periods of low solar contribution or high hot water demand.
Optional Gas boosting: It can be installed to ensure continuous hot water supply during the periods of low solar contribution or high hot water demand.
No water on the roof: It eliminates the water on the roof and is suitable for a standard fitment in frost/snow areas as there is no water on the roof to freeze.
Customised solar panels: This system allows the customer to choose their solar panels in order to meet their individual needs.
Controller has visual indicator: An LCD reader shows the amount of power generated on a daily basis & has LED tank temperature indication.
Flexible installation of the cylinder in terms of location to give customers more options to install this system.
Excellent option in off grid & rural areas due no mains required for DC heating operation and standard replacement parts with less maintenance required.
Long cylinder life: The cylinder has a dedicated DC electrical circuit. The water temperature within the tank is accurately controlled by simply turning off or redirecting the PV DC power when the tank has reached the required temperature, eliminating over heating of system components.
Silent operation: Unlike heat pumps and thermal pumped systems a PV direct system has silent operation with no noisy moving parts.

The water temperature within the tank is accurately controlled by simply turning off or redirecting the PV DC power when the tank has reached the required temperature, eliminating over heating of system components. Additionally, the PV direct system’s controller offers the benefits of DIY visual checks on the cylinder’s temperature and solar energy generated per day and total. Finally, this system is designed to provide economical service from medium to high solar gain areas and is suitable for a family size of 2 to 5.
